The Founder's Circle was a group established in February 2009 to get Temple Project Ireland off the ground.   By May 2011 they had accomplished their goal.  The group had grown to 856 subscribers and had raised an incredible €175,000 ! They had helped the project receive full planning permission, and the site be prepared for construction.

Sogyal Rinpoche's mother, Mayum-la Tsering Wangmo (pictured left), was one of the first members of the Founder's Circle. This is particularly auspicious considering her experience and contribution to temple project's in Tibet and the West – most recently at Lerab Ling.
